Working with the Sales team by understanding the customer's needs and present concept solutions

  • Support quotation by calculating costs regarding the hardware and software.

  • Research and introduce new concepts and technologies to the business.

  • Support in defining the technology path in regard to Software/Hardware for the business.

  • Convert concepts into functioning solutions, ensuring all requirements met.

  • Support the mechanical design engineers with R&D team.

  • Build mock-ups and test concepts

  • Support project design and manufacture, resolving technical challenges throughout project lifecycle

  • Virtual Commissioning – Siemens NX-MCD.


QUALIFICATIONS

You must have the following qualifications

  • Relevant technical education as a software engineer, electrical engineer, automation technician, automation technologist, marine engineer, electrical installer or similar

  • 5 years + of experience in developing both software and hardware and preferably with integration into mechanics. Experience from a machine-producing project company, production, or automation company.

  • Strong background in software design, user interface and system architecture. Hardware, electrical design and equipping electrical panels. Experience with Siemens TIA portal, Simotion Scout.

  • Preferably experience with Siemens Safety PLC and HMI panels.

  • Has a wholistic approach to problem solving

  • Logical and analytically minded

  • Focused, determined and goal-oriented

  • Proactive, motivated and positive attitude

  • Willing to lead, take responsibility and ownership

  • Open, outgoing and strong team player

  • Solution oriented, driven by opportunities and not limitations

  • Dare to challenge the status quo!

  • Required: English, spoken and written

  • Preferred: Danish, spoken and written
